Second ACT award in 2025 confirms HTC as Jordan’s trusted partner for mission-critical marine and port projects.
Hasan Al-Tarawneh & Sons Contracting Co. Ltd. (HTC) is proud to announce the award of the Ro-Ro Ramp & Berthing Dolphins Repair Works contract at Aqaba Container Terminal (ACT) — Jordan’s primary maritime gateway and the backbone of the nation’s global trade.
The project will deliver rehabilitation of the Ro-Ro ramp, pile strengthening and jacketing, soffit and deck concrete repairs, replacement of fenders and bollards, and installation of a new 25-meter access gangway. All works will be executed within live port operations, under strict international HSSE standards, ensuring uninterrupted port functionality throughout.
This achievement follows HTC’s ongoing Above Deck Repair Works at ACT, making 2025 a defining year in which HTC has been entrusted with two consecutive marine infrastructure projects at Jordan’s most strategic port.
“Back-to-back awards from Aqaba Container Terminal are a powerful vote of confidence in HTC’s ability to deliver the most complex and mission-critical works. We are not only restoring infrastructure — we are reinforcing Jordan’s gateway to global trade for generations to come,” said Dr. Ahmad Al-Tarawneh, Chairman & CEO.
With these projects, HTC continues to strengthen its reputation as Jordan’s contractor of choice for complex marine and port infrastructure, committed to delivering with excellence, safety, and precision.
