HTC Launches US$3.1 Million Two-Warehouse Development Program at South Aqaba Investment Complex

Hasan Al-Tarawneh & Sons Contracting Co. Ltd. (HTC Contracting) has commenced a US$3.1 million industrial warehouse development program at the South Aqaba Investment Complex for the National Real Estate Company (NREC).

The program comprises the development of two turnkey industrial warehouse facilities, expanding storage and logistics capacity within one of Aqaba’s key investment and industrial areas.

HTC’s first warehouse package marks the start of the wider development program and combines civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection and external infrastructure works within an integrated turnkey delivery model.

Turnkey Industrial Warehouse Development

The first facility comprises a large-span industrial warehouse designed to support logistics, storage and operational activities within the South Aqaba Investment Complex.

HTC’s works include earthworks and site preparation, reinforced concrete foundations, industrial floor construction, structural steel erection, building envelope works and associated architectural elements.

The warehouse is being developed as a complete operational facility rather than a standalone structural shell, requiring coordinated delivery across multiple construction disciplines.

Integrated Civil, Structural & MEP Works

The project integrates the principal systems required for a modern industrial and logistics facility.

Works include reinforced concrete foundations and industrial slabs, large-span steel structures, electrical and lighting systems, mechanical services, drainage, potable water infrastructure, ventilation and comprehensive fire protection systems.

External works include asphalt yards, circulation areas, drainage and supporting infrastructure designed to enable efficient vehicle access, loading and day-to-day logistics operations.

Located within the South Aqaba Investment Complex, the warehouse development supports the continued expansion of industrial, storage and logistics capacity in Aqaba.

The project combines functional warehouse space with external infrastructure, vehicle circulation and integrated building services required for reliable industrial operations.
